M&A Senior Analyst
About the role:
We are looking for a M&A Senior Analyst to support a wide range of tasks linked to buy-side, sell-side, fundraising and strategic advisory mandates. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual who recently qualified as an accountant in a Big 4 environment and ideally has some M&A experience.
The role holder will play a key role in various M&A projects from inception to completion. Main aspects of the role include:
Work closely with the project leader on all aspects of the transaction and client management
Lead selected work streams and projects within the wider M&A project
Draft presentations, board reports, etc.
Create and update financial models
Lead key aspects of the financial and commercial due diligence process
Personal Skills:
Exceptional knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Strong accounting and financial modelling skills
Strong organisational and project management skills
Ability to deliver exceptionally strong output even under time pressure
Attention to detail
Experience and Qualifications
Circa 3-4 years of relevant professional experience
CFA, ACA or similar qualification (ideally Big 4)
Bachelor’s degree from one of the world’s top 50 universities
Additional relevant professional experience either in Investment Banking, Accounting, Private Equity or Strategy Consulting would be a plus, but not required
