Arrange an
Initial Strategic M&A Assessment
How do we work?
1
Initial Strategic Assessment
The first step in our process is always an initial call followed by our strategic assessment. At this - pre-engagement stage - we provide you with our initial thoughts on the valuation of your business, appetite from investors and how a potential transaction could be structured to meet your needs and expectations.
2
Preparation
If, following our strategic assessment, we decide to work together, we will start with a thorough preparation. To ensure that we can achieve the best results, we will invest significant time and resources to understand every aspect of the business. This includes financials, strategy, operations, culture, key staff members, client relationships, position in the market, etc.
3
Deal Strategy
Based on a thorough understanding of the business, its position in the market as well as how potential investors will look at the business, we develop a deal strategy that is designed to achieve the optimal result for your transaction. This could for example be a highly competitive auction process to maximise price or an off-market approach of a small number of selected buyers to maintain confidentiality.
4
Execution
Once we have developed the deal strategy we will start with the execution, which involves approaching investors in line with our mandate. We will lead all investor communication, negotiation, due diligence management, objection handling, and will work very closely with all stakeholders to ensure an efficient execution.
5
Results
The combination of thorough preparation, a compelling deal strategy and efficient execution enables us to deliver execution results across all key aspects of the transaction: i) valuation, ii) structure, iii) certainty, iv) efficiency and v) cultural fit.
Before we can start
We are committed to achieve the best results for our clients and our commitment starts with the very first contact.
